Teaching with Apollo

Our talented teachers’ efforts are certainly recognised throughout Apollo and we take pride in rewarding these efforts. This includes a fair pay scheme for teacher salary as well as other English teacher benefits.

Teachers earn a comfortable income in Vietnam, which they find covers the cost of living as well as providing additional disposable income to explore the beautiful country around them. At the beginning, your pay and responsibility will be linked to your level of experience.

Other English teacher benefits such as 20 days fully-paid leave each year, the contract completion bonus and emergency medical insurance (or up to $550 towards your own policy). This is in addition to the internationally recognised training and availability of International House certificated qualifications.

Also, especially for new starters, we are keen to make the transition as easy as possible. Once you arrive in Vietnam, we will issue you a starter pack (including maps, city guides and information about day-to-day life here including supermarkets, doctors, etc.). As outlined in the ‘Settling in’ page, your Apollo Centre can help you with moving to your new surroundings.
