Ha Noi
Where is Ha Noi city located?
Ha Noi (sometimes Hanoi) is iconic due to its status as the country’s capital city, but the story only really begins there. Whilst developing at a speedy pace, it still maintains its charming characteristics that make it such a popular place to live. The city is the second largest city in Vietnam, with around 3.5 million residents, and is located in the North of the country, roughly 1100 kilometres from Ho Chi Minh City.
The weather in the North goes through four distinct seasons. The summers are still hot and sunny like other regions of Vietnam, but the winters are short and dry, and also cool by South East Asian standards.
Teach at Apollo Ha Noi
As there are currently three teaching centres, there are plenty of opportunities to reach out to many different people in the city with Apollo Ha Noi. Teaching in Ha Noi is to a wide range of students from meeting the requirements of young learners to developing adults into confident English speakers for the corporate world.
Places to visit after work
During their stay, those who are teaching in Ha Noi are not short of adventures on offer. There are many famous buildings to visit in and around the city such as the Temple of Literature, Perfume Pagoda and the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum. The cafés and small street provide a gentle mix of its French heritage as well as signs of other former rulers. The lakes and parks across town also add to the attraction of living in the city.
Also short trips away to Sapa and Halong Bay, to visit some of the world’s most magnificent attractions, are within reach. The international airport just outside the city also allows travel to many more locations. And finally, don’t forget to pop in and visit your Apollo colleagues in Hai Phong, a city that is only 90 kilometres away.
